DIRECTIONS TO: Lizzie’s Nest Bed and Breakfast: From the Parks Highway, coming from the Anchorage - Nenana direction: * From the Parks Highway (Alaska No. 3) take the Geist Road exit, and turn Left onto Geist Road. * Geist Road becomes the Johansen Expressway after crossing University Avenue. Stay on the Johansen Expressway until you reach the Steese Expressway/Highway (Alaska No. 2). * Turn Left, and travel North on the Steese Expressway/Highway * Pass Chena Hot Springs Road exit * Turn Right at next exit (Bennett Rd., Gilmore Trail, Steele Cr. Rd). * Take first Left uphill onto Gilmore Trl. * Go about 2.8 mi. to Goldmine Trl. * Turn Left onto Goldmine Trl. * Pass Flat Mt. Rd. on left * Pass Black Sand Rd. on right * Our house is the first driveway on the right past Black Sand Rd. From the Richardson Highway, coming from the Tok, Delta Junction direction: * From the Richardson Highway (Alaska No. 2), continue into town. The Richardson Highway becomes the Steese Expressway/Highway (Alaska No. 2). * Travel North through town on the Steese Expressway/Highway * Pass Chena Hot Springs Road exit * Turn Right at next exit (Bennett Rd., Gilmore Trail, Steele Cr. Rd). * Take first Left uphill onto Gilmore Trl. * Go about 2.8 mi. to Goldmine Trl. * Turn Left onto Goldmine Trl. * Pass Flat Mt. Rd. on Left * Pass Black Sand Rd. on Right * Lizzie’s Nest is the first driveway on the right past Black Sand Rd. From the International Airport: * From the International Airport take Airport Road/Way to University Avenue. * Turn Left onto University Avenue and go to the first traffic light (Geist Road/Johansen Expressway crosses here). * Turn Right onto the Johansen Expressway. * Stay on the Johansen Expressway until you reach the Steese Expressway/Highway (Alaska No. 2). * Turn Left, and travel North on the Steese Expressway/Highway * Pass the Chena Hot Springs Road exit * Turn Right at next exit (Bennett Rd., Gilmore Trail, Steele Creek Rd). * Take the first Left turn uphill onto Gilmore Trl. * Go about 2.8 mi. on Gilmore Trl. to Goldmine Trl. * Turn Left onto Goldmine Trl. * Pass Flat Mt. Rd. on the left * Pass Black Sand Rd. on the right * Lizzie’s Nest B&B is the first driveway on the Right past Black Sand Rd. |
